I have been making ceramics since the lucky chance acquisition of some old pottery studio equipment in 2019. This sparked a whole new creative adventure which has become a passion bordering on obsession! I love everything about this process and am experimenting with all sorts of different techniques. I love to throw on the wheel and produce colourful glazed functional ware, but also like to produce art pieces which can be a mixture of wheel thrown and hand built. The discovery of local clay in my own back garden was a further excitement and I am creating unique pieces from this clay and plant based paper that I make from the local river side grasses.
